Overview
Discover the most monumental part of the historic center of Cuenca and immerse yourself in the history, legends and charm of a unique city declared a World Heritage Site. We will begin our visit in the Plaza Mayor, at the foot of the Cathedral of Santa Maria y San Julián, one of the first great Gothic cathedrals of Castile and one of the most representative symbols of the city. Along the way we will explore the ancient Muslim alcazar and the historic Jewish quarter while discovering such emblematic places as the Torremangana, the remains of the palace of the Marquises of Cañete, the old synagogue, the tunnels of Alfonso VIII and the Casa del Corregidor. We will stroll through medieval alleys, stately homes and the famous Conquens skyscrapers before ending next to the St. Paul's Bridge and the iconic Hanging Houses, enjoying breathtaking views over the sickle of the Huécar.
