Guided tour of the Cathedral of Lugo

Overview

Discover the impressive Cathedral of Santa Maria de Lugo on a guided tour full of history and curiosities. We will start at its main facade, in Pius XII Square, where we will know how this temple evolved from the Romanesque to the neoclassical. Then we will enter to admire its spectacular baroque cloister, one of the best preserved in Galicia. We will tour the Cathedral Museum, with its valuable collection of sacred art, and visit the High Altar and the most important chapels, such as the one of San Froilán and the one of the Virgin of the Big Eyes, patron saint of Lugo.
