Overview

Dominio D ́Echauz is a vineyard integrated in the exceptional natural environment of Zayas de Báscones, in the Ribera del Duero soriana. An extraordinarily biodiverse 787-hectare domain in which the vineyard, which occupies 130 hectares, shares an ecosystem with other crops and a significant forest mass of 300 hectares. The continental climate and the high altitude, which ranges from 940 m to 1002 m, provide great plant health to the vineyard, although the risk of frost and severe storms require us to practice precision viticulture respectful of the environment. The diversity of soils and orientations within Dominion D'Echauz allows us to study and characterize the behavior of the large range of plant material we have, a collection that preserves more than 16,000 different biotypes.
