Sabre the Moment: Cava Sabrage Class in Barcelona
Operated by Savour Academy
Overview
Have you always wanted to try the champagne/samurai sword party trick? Learn how to do it, Barcelona-style, with a machete and a bottle of fine cava! Here's what we'll do: -A Brief History of Champagne Sabrage (Modern day Cava Sabering!) -Technique on cava sabering, safety controls etc. -Live demonstration with a glass or two of cava for each participant -Each participant is shown what to do and each sabers a bottle of cava -After-sabering speakeasy where we drink what we didn't spill, with nibbles. *NOTE: This class is scheduled on alternating days with my other experience; Class in a Glass. It may be possible to schedule in a Sabrage class if the other class is not booked. So please contact me to ask if a different date is possible. Thanks!
What’s included
- Snacks after the activity: Olives, manchego cheese, crisps, olive oil and bread.
- 1 bottle of ecological, biodynamic, vegan cava from a local Penedes winery, per participant, plus reception glass of cava.
