Taste, learn & connect exploring the soul of Spanish wine! I give my experience of learning, studying, tasting, drinking & living wine culture ..not just another tour. Our Requena VIP tour explores historic old bush vine vineyards, tasting some of the best organic wines of Utiel-Requena with myself, a professional WSET/Sommelier who also produces his own wine from a small centenary plot! I explain Spain’s grape varieties, organic viticulture & really learn about wine with a unique revealing behind the scenes tour. No tour is identical, visiting small bodegas & Pago estates with a personal attention being our gold standard. We visit 2 fabulous wineries-90/94pt wines, long aged Cava & Ex. Virgin Olive oil + Optional artisan bobal tastings. Meet the owners at the bodegas, appreciate their top wines & understand more about Cava! We visit medieval Requena; guided walkabout 10thC Castle,plaza, Moors caves & Gothic 13thC churches of Reconquest. More details at valenciancellars own site.
