Teide Sunset Hiking & Volcanic Tube Visit
Operated by Sherpa
Overview
Once in the park, we'll visit the famous lava tubes - a unique geological formation created from ancient volcanic eruptions. The highlight of our adventure awaits as we embark on a moderate 2.5-hour hike to a 2,000-meter peak, offering unparalleled views of the park and its surroundings. This exclusive sunset route takes us through the area of the last volcanic eruptions, offering an experience of true solitude-we encounter almost no other hikers. This trail provides stunning, ever-changing views: a unique contrast between the richly colored volcanic peaks (red, brown, and ochre), distant islands, the vast blue ocean, and the green tapestry of the forests far below. Route details: Total length 5.5 km with a total elevation gain of 200 m.
