Ornithological Navigation by the International Private Boat Tagus
Operated by Barco Natura
Overview
Sail by private boat through Tagus International Natural Park, one of the last unspoilt rivers in Western Europe and Biosphere Reserve. A wilderness experience impossible to find elsewhere on the peninsula. On board the electric and silent vessel, an expert ornithological guide will accompany you as you discover emblematic and rare birds: black stork, black vulture, Iberian imperial eagle, fish eagle, mullet, fisherman martin, heron royal, cormorant and black and royal doves. Quiet sailing allows you to approach wildlife without disturbing it — a unique advantage over other land tours. As an optional complement we offer a table of Extremaduran sausages and Acehúche cheese PDO from local producers in the Alagón Valley. We are members of the Extremadura Cheese Route. (Additional cost.) Small groups, maximum 8 people. Private and customizable tour.
