Guided Tour of Gibraltar from the Costa del Sol
Operated by VISIT & DAILY TOURS
Overview
Gibraltar is located at the southern tip of the Iberian peninsula, east of Algeciras Bay, and extends over the geological formation of the Rock of Gibraltar, a peninsula that dominates the north bank of the strait, communicating the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It is home to a population of 30,000 on an area of less than 7 km2, with an economy based on the service sector, mainly as a financial, tourist and free port. From Coach Park we will head through the city center with explanations of the most relevant places like: Point of Europe to take pictures and admire the views, from here you climb the Rock and visit Las Cuevas de San Miguel, as well as the monkey enclosure (remember that these Macacos were the first inhabitants of Gibraltar and move freely on the Rock, usually seen during the visit). After the visit the tour concludes in "Main Street" shopping and leisure street.
