Overview
This experience combines history, arch-botany, and gastronomy in the heart of the Huerta de Alboraia. You will visit an ecological field of chufa and the Espai Món Orxata, a unique cultural space that narrates 80 million years of history of chufa. Dinosaurs, hominids, Sioux, Pharaohs, the Roman Empire, Mars, Da Vinci or Quixote... what do they all have in common with the chufa? In addition to traveling in the time machine, you will access a horchata craftsman, something very unusual in Valencia. The experience includes horchata tasting and local pastries, a horchata making workshop and a gift kit (chufa sachet, fartons and chufa chocolate).
What’s included
- Tasting of chufa, natural horchata of chufas (without sugar and with sugar), horchata of almonds, and local pastries (doughnuts and fartons), and cream of chufa. Free water is always available.
Not included
- Transportation to the Espai Món Orxata (Carrer Teixidors 7, Alboraia, 46120) is not included.
